I was out running with the North Shore Wanderers, and chatting to one of the guys. He was telling me that some of the people on his team wanted to convert to using Kubernetes.

From using AWS EC2 instances(!)

I think that Kubernetes will become the de-facto method most companies use to deploy software — and it is why I became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) — switching from EC2 instances to Kubernetes is like switching from a car to driving a racing car.

Apparently HSBC believes I am going to live forever.

Whilst most people live about ~27000 days (~75 years), I’ve not logged into my account in close to 1618 YEARS.

Apparently this is quite normal and nothing unusual.

Lets hope their prediction is true.
